Community and Family Resources is dedicated to helping individuals, families, and communities achieve healthy behavior and lifestyle through support, education, prevention, and treatment of substance use, problem gambling, and other mental health disorders.
About Us
Community and Family Resources offers substance use, mental health, and problem gambling treatment and prevention services. CFR serves individuals from across the state of Iowa, with offices in Ames, Boone, Clarion, Conroy, Des Moines, Fort Dodge, Humboldt, Iowa City, Rockwell City, Tipton, Washington, and Webster City. In Fiscal Year 2024, CFR provided treatment services to 5,832 individuals and offered prevention services to schools, businesses, cities, counties, and community groups, reaching 42,876 individuals.
